A Bronx man has been charged with fatally bludgeoning his girlfriend, cops said Monday.

José Medina, of Morris Heights, was collared Sunday while on the lam in Amityville, police said.

Medina, 41, pummeled his lover, Angelica Jimenez, 61, to death at around 6:45 p.m. March 8, according to authorities.

Jimenez was found unconscious with severe head trauma on the living-room floor of the ground-level apartment she shared with Medina in the Castle Hill Houses on Seward Avenue, cops said.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, they said.

The crime left their building’s neighbors stunned and horrified.

“Right now, you telling me, it bothers me. Because that could have been my grandmother,” a man named Jeffrey told WCBS/Channel 2.

“It’s not safe. It’s everything, every day, something’s happening,” he added.

“Kids, grown-ups; it’s crazy out here.”
