A federal grand jury indicted a teacher at the prestigious Bronx High School of Science on 11 counts of child pornography Wednesday — and the court papers alleged he tricked teens in Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Indiana into sending him naked and sexual photos of themselves.
Jonathan Cruz, 31, was busted in March for sending hundreds of dollars worth of gift cards to five teen boys in exchange for fetish photos, according to a criminal complaint.
But Cruz’s sick scheme extended to four other states, a Manhattan federal court indictment reveals.
The 11-count indictment doesn’t charge Cruz with any crimes related to the upstate New York teen mentioned in his criminal complaint.
He’s currently free on a $1 million bond.
