The death of a 33-year-old Bronx woman has been deemed a homicide, according to police sources.

Victim Cindi Olivo was found face up on the bedroom floor of her University Avenue apartment around 8:40 p.m. July 12 after someone called the police complaining of a foul odor, cops said.

Law enforcement sources said Olivo’s body was so badly decomposed that police could not initially tell if there were signs of trauma, but investigators with the city Medical Examiner’s office later determined she had suffered stab wounds to her neck. Cops want to question Olivo’s boyfriend, Luis Severino, 49, the sources added.
