A baby dairy bull is the first born at the Prospect Park Zoo.

Zoo officials say the newborn calf — whose mother is a shorthorn milking cow and father a Randall lineback bull — weighed in at a healthy 84 pounds when he was born two weeks ago. He could grow to more than 1,000 pounds.

The Prospect Park Zoo now has two cows.
