The Brooklyn man charged in the brutal stabbing death of his girlfriend cried and said he was “sorry” this morning as cops led him out of a police station in shackles.

“I’m sorry. I loved Daniella. I’m sorry to her family. I’m sorry for my children,” Brian Sohtz, 36, said as two police officers took him out of the 70th Precinct stationhouse.

Sohtz is accused of killing his girlfriend Daniella Mannino, 34, who was found dead on Tuesday in a bathtub inside his Bensonhurst apartment.

Mannino suffered numerous stab wounds, police said.

Sohtz called his ex-wife and told her that Mannino was dead after the two had gotten into a heated argument, sources said.

Sohtz is not new to breaking the law.

In October 2006, court records in Suffolk County show that he pleaded guilty to menacing and criminal possession of a weapon for attacking his then-wife.

At the time, Sohtz was sentenced to three years probation.
