A Brooklyn grandfather was shot and killed early today by two men who broke into his home, authorities said.

Stevenson Blackett, 60, was asleep in the basement of his Canarsie home when the two thugs showed up at about 1:15 a.m., police said.

Blackett was shot once in the head.

It remains unclear if the men stole anything.

Cops said no arrests have been made.
