A Brooklyn man was killed in a barrage of bullets on the Lower East Side early this morning, police said.

Responding cops made the gruesome discovery at 12:33 a.m. and found Jonathan Alston shot multiple times throughout the body inside an apartment building on Pitt Street near Rivington Street.

The 23-year-old victim was struck in the head, right arm, knee, neck and back. He was rushed to Beth Israel hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police found crack cocaine on him and believe the killing may be drug related, police sources said.
