A Brooklyn man accused of savagely beating his girlfriend’s foster child could face murder charges now that the boy has been declared dead from his injuries — which were so bad that doctors could save only his heart for an organ donation.

Little Kymell Oram was declared dead Friday after clinging to life for nearly two weeks after a brutal beating left him with rib fractures, internal injuries and abdominal lacerations.

Doctors at Brookdale Hospital kept him on a ventilator to harvest his organs — but he had been clobbered so badly that only his heart escaped injury, sources said.

Results from an autopsy, reported by the Medical Examiner today, said the boy died from blunt force trauma injuries.

Kysheen Oliver, 19, was arraigned on assault and endangerment charges after prosecutors revealed the details of the beating he allegedly inflicted on Kymell while he was babysitting.

Oliver’s girlfriend, 32-year-old Teyunna Cummings, returned to her East New York home from dropping her daughter and another foster child off at school and found Kymell laying face down in a pool of vomit.

Kymell was having difficulty breathing and Cummings gave him asthma medicine and told Oliver to call 911, officials said.

Oliver said they should wait 20 minutes for the medicine to take effect, but Cummings told him the child didn’t have 20 minutes, according to court records.

After being whisked away in an ambulance, Kymell had to be resuscitated twice.
