The heartless thug allegedly caught on video mugging a 78-year-old Brooklyn woman in her wheelchair was arraigned today on a grand larceny charge.
Cody Santiago, 18, entered no plea as a judge set bail at $7,500 in Brooklyn Criminal Court.
Santiago had not made bail as of this afternoon.
His lawyer said he plans to enter Santiago in a youthful offender program.
The teen was arrested at his mother’s home without incident Wednesday night, after the daylight robbery was caught in a disturbing surveillance video.
In the video, a thug who resembles Santiago runs up to the victim and snatches her purse from her lap.
He reportedly took the victim’s blood-pressure monitor, some medicine and $15.
