A 6-foot-5, 265-pound ex-high-school football player has confessed to kicking his then-girlfriend’s dog, a 9-pound miniature dachshund named Pepper, to death.
Donny Allieri, 19, yesterday pleaded guilty to animal cruelty, theft and other charges in Morristown, NJ. He said he attacked Pepper in the woman’s Boonton Township family home in June 2010, one day after the dog had bit him.
