The homeless brute who shoved a 73-year-old grandmother onto the subway tracks in Brooklyn after her grandson asked him to stop smoking has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, cops said Monday.

Luis Hernandez, 38, was also charged with two counts of assault in connection with the Oct. 19 incident at the C train’s Clinton-Washington stop. cops said.

Hernandez allegedly punched and kicked the woman’s 82-year-old husband and 30-year-old grandson after the younger man asked him to stop smoking, according to police.

At some point during the melee, he allegedly shoved the woman onto the tracks, cops said.

She was not hit by the train and was expected to recover after being taken by EMS to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, according to police.
