A pair of brutes – one seen walking with a cane – fatally beat one homeless man and battered another with metal pipes and a baseball bat outside a Brooklyn Shop Rite, cops said.

The victims, 42 and 38, were snoozing in the parking lot of the supermarket on McDonald Avenue near Avenue I in Mapleton around 7 p.m. Sept. 18 when they got into a spat with the vicious pair, authorities said.

The duo then brutally beat both men with the pipes and bat, cops said.

The attack left the younger man, later identified by cops as Cos Jervis Jonas Ajpuac, with pain and swelling to his legs and stomach.

Ajpauc was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center, where doctors determined he’d suffered internal bleeding.

He died of his injuries exactly two weeks later, on Oct. 2 – and the city’s Medical Examiner’s Office ruled his death a homicide, authorities said.

The older victim, left with cuts and bruising on the head and body after the beatdown, was taken to the same hospital, where he was listed in stable condition and then released, cops said.

Cops said the still-at-large suspects – identified Wednesday night as Francisco Corocoj, 25, and Manuel Perez, 49 – are known to the victims and frequent the area of McDonald Avenue and Ocean Parkway.

Police released a video Wednesday night of the attackers strolling down the supermarket aisle, with Corocoj walking with a cane and seen with an apparent bandage over his nose.

The nature of the dispute-turned-deadly was not immediately known.
