Talk about taking a bite out of crime fighting!

Bedbugs have infested the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office on Jay Street, officials admitted yesterday.

“We’re in the process of exterminating them,” said spokesman Jerry Schmetterer.

Assistant district attorneys were seen “milling outside and scratching” as exterminators went after the bugs Thursday, said a courthouse source.

Bedbug-detecting dogs sniffed the hallways of the office — in the same building as a Marriott hotel. The infestation’s source was unknown.
