A burglar swiped dozens of iPads and MetroCards from a Brooklyn elementary school, police said Tuesday.
The suspect climbed through a second-floor window to break into P.S. 93 William H. Prescott on the corner of Herkimer Place and New York Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 3 a.m. Jan. 26, according to police.
In total he stole $400 in cash, 25 Apple iPads and 20 MetroCards before fleeing southbound on Atlantic Avenue, police said.
The NYPD refused to comment when asked whether detectives are able to trail the suspect via the use of location tracking on the devices or cards.
The school was not immediately available to comment.
