An intruder stole six ceremonial crowns — valued about $8,200 — from a Brooklyn synagogue, police said early Monday.
The suspect entered the Congregation Beth El of Flatbush synagogue, on East 3rd Street near Avenue U, around 1 a.m. Wednesday, authorities said.
Video released by the NYPD shows him pacing around the synagogue, methodically picking up and moving various items.
Police have not identified the suspect who stole the crowns from the synagogue. DCPIHe then pilfered the pricey crowns before taking off, cops said.
Police said there weren’t any signs of forced entry. It’s unclear how the suspect got in.
He was still on the loose Monday.
