A tractor-trailer carrying coffee beans flipped and caught fire on the New Jersey Turnpike this morning, causing a java jolt for commuters facing nightmarish delays approaching the George Washington Bridge.
The big rig crashed and burned just after 5 a.m. near Route 80, ABC 7 reported. Two people suffered only minor injuries, but the accident is blocking the northbound express lanes leading to the bridge.
All traffic was being sent to the local lanes, where yet another accident further compounded the agony for commuters, the station reported.
