A Long Island school-bus driver, fired for picking up three stranded cops during a storm last week, has gotten his job back.
The Educational Bus Transportation company said yesterday that it decided to rehire George Daw following a meeting with union officials.
The bus driver was axed because he violated company policy against picking up strangers while a child was aboard.
Daw said he’s grateful to have his job back but is also considering other offers that have arisen.
