A bus operator was injured in Brooklyn on Monday when a crazed pedestrian smashed the windshield, officials said.
The JFK-bound B15 was stopped at the intersection of Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Fulton Street at about 1:45 p.m. when a pedestrian shattered glass to the driver’s left, sending shards into his face, officials said.
The driver was taken to Interfaith Medical Center.
The B15 was targeted by a man last week who spread pepper spray on the line twice in the same day.
“We’re working closely with the police and are providing whatever assistance we can to catch this perpetrator and have him face the consequences of his actions,” MTA CEO Andy Byford said.
“We will not stand idly by while our colleagues are attacked.”
