The man killed at random by a madman aboard a Queens bus was a detective in his native Trinidad, according to a report.
Marvin Gilkes was riding the Q111 Friday afternoon when Damel Burton, 34, boarded, fatally shot him and wounded another passenger, cops said.
“I haven’t eaten one meal, I’m weak, distraught, he was my everything,” his grieving widow, Alicia Gilkes, told WABC/Channel 7 last night.
She added that Marvin, who was headed to visit his mother when he died, had quit his police job in his native country so the two could move to New York.
