Authorities have busted nine reputed members of a Bushwick gang that terrorized the neighborhood with murders, kidnappings and drug trafficking.
Brooklyn federal prosecutors say the “Bushwick Crew” members ran a large-scale heroin-trafficking operation, which often turned violent to protect their product.
Between 2012 and 2014, four men were killed by various members, including murder victims Gary Lopez and Rudy Superville — who were tortured, stabbed and shot to death after breaking into a drug den in March 2013, authorities said.
Lance Goodwin, Maurice Brown, Jason Pantojas, Miguel Pantojas, Luis Lopez, Peter Vasquez, and Tyquan Griem face life in prison if convicted of murder charges.
