Two off-duty female transit cops charged with assaulting a Bronx dad during a 2008 argument over an open minivan door went on trial yesterday, with a prosecutor telling jurors the battered victim made “the critical mistake of answering back in a disrespectful way” when they ordered him to “Close your f—ing door!”
