A midday fire killed an 87-year-old Bronx woman and left her 91-year-old husband in critical condition yesterday, authorities said.
The blaze erupted at about noon in the couple’s apartment at 2400 Johnson Ave. in Riverdale , the FDNY said.
Cornelia Dykshoorn died from smoke inhalation at New ork-Presbyterian Hospital. Fire marshals said they were investigating the cause of the fire.
