Bx. judge censured
A judicial-oversight panel has censured Bronx Surrogate’s Court Judge Lee Holzman for his handling of a government lawyer accused of pilfering estates of the deceased, officials said yesterday.
The state Commission on Judicial Conduct found that Holzman fell short of his duties in dealing with Michael Lippman, counsel to the Bronx public administrator.
Holzman has 30 days to appeal, or the censure will become final.
