A veteran Bronx landlord pledged yesterday to invest $7 million to repair 10 rent-stabilized buildings he bought this month after the intervention of city officials.
The buildings in Kingsbridge began falling apart in 2009 after the previous owner, Milbank Real Estate, defaulted on a $35 million mortgage.
Steve Finkelstein said he intended to correct 80 percent of more than 4,800 housing-code violations.
