The hit-and-run cabbie who fatally struck a 77-year-old woman in Chelsea on Thursday has been charged following her death, according to police.
Cops say 82-year-old hack Daniel Fusaro of Queens was travelling northbound on 8th Avenue in a 2014 yellow Nissan taxicab when he fatally slammed into Iris Crespo at West 22 Street as she traversed a crosswalk.
But rather than stop, Fusaro allegedly kept going — and then plowed into parked vehicle, officials said.
Crespo was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Fusaro was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield to a pedestrian, failure to obey a traffic signal and failure to exercise due care, according to cops.
