Already threatened by Uber and other app-based car-hailing alternatives, independent cabbies claim they are being unfairly forced to convert to wheelchair-accessible rides by new city rules, according to a Brooklyn federal court lawsuit.

They claim they’re being arbitrarily forced into a program that they say sharply devalues their medallions.

The plaintiffs’ attorney, Daniel Ackman, told The Post that the city is “being generous with other people’s property.”
