Hollywood starlet Cameron Diaz officially squelched rumors of her reported relationship with Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez, according to a report Tuesday.

The 37-year old blonde beauty told Playboy “no, no, no” when asked if the oft-linked pair were an item, US Weekly reported.

“In the past three years I’ve made a conscious decision not to be in a relationship for as long as I want. I’ve stayed away from all the traps out there for me to just fall into something that will potentially lead me down the same road,” she said.

“I want to have a relationship with myself right now.”

She didn’t explain the many overlaps in their personal life, including her being spotted at Rodriguez’s Manhattan apartment several times in May.
