A Canadian minister and record-setting strongman wowed “Live with Kelly and Ryan” viewers this week, pulling a New York City bus 16 feet down West 67th Street.
The bus weighs 33,400 pounds, giving Kevin Fast the world record for heaviest vehicle pulled using only the upper body, according to Guinness Word Records, which was on hand to document the achievement.
Fast, 58, sat on the street, his feet up against a wooden block, and slowly pulled the electric MTA bus toward him using a heavy rope. The bus slowly picked up speed after Fast’s herculean effort to get it moving.

Fast set a world record for heaviest vehicle pulled using only the upper body with the 33,400 pound bus. YouTubeThe stout Canadian, sporting an impressive grey Santa Claus beard, attempted an awkward somersault after his impressive feat of strength.
“We are excited to be part of a historic Guinness World Records attempt to pull the heaviest vehicle by the upper body, and congratulate Kevin Fast on his exciting achievement,” MTA executive Frank Annicaro said in a statement.

Fast has already broken over 30 world records. YouTubeThe record was set outside the “Live with Kelly and Ryan” Upper West Side studio between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West.
Fast, a Lutheran minister in Coburg, Ontario, has broken more than 30 world records, according to the MTA statement, including pulling a 208-ton airplane, a 63-ton truck and a 40-ton house.
