This drug plan finally soured.
The NYPD has smashed a Brooklyn narcotics ring that peddled marijuana packaged in Sour Patch candy wrappers, authorities announced yesterday.
The pot, as well as three loaded handguns, 200 plastic bags of crack cocaine and $300 in cash, were recovered during an early-morning raid Tuesday inside a Pitkin Avenue building in Brownsville, according to Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget Brennan.
The weapons and drugs were stashed in a safe hidden inside a stove, officials said.
Fourteen people were rounded up, police said.
