A car exploded into flames on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway on Wednesday evening, sending plumes of smoke into the air.
The blast was caught in dramatic video footage as the car burst into flames on the highway near the Williamsburg Bridge around 5:30 p.m.
FDNY arrived at the scene shortly after to douse the flames.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured in the blaze.
