A car went up in flames on the Brooklyn Bridge on Wednesday, temporarily snarling traffic headed for Manhattan, authorities said.
Firefighters got the call at 8:12 p.m. and rushed to the Manhattan-bound side of the span to find the burning Nissan Altima, officials said.
Two of three lanes had to be closed as firefighters doused flames.
Remarkably, no one was injured and no other cars were involved in the incident, officials said.
It was not immediately known why the car caught fire.
