Two people were seriously injured when a pair of vehicles collided on the Upper West Side on Wednesday, causing one to jump the curb and slam into a subway entrance, officials said.
The crash happened at the corner of West 66th Street and Broadway around 6:10 a.m.
An SUV was then forced up onto the sidewalk, knocking out part of the sign and railing of the 66th Street 1 train station.
A man in his 40s and another unidentified person were taken to New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in serious condition, officials said.
It’s not immediately clear what caused the crash, police said.
