The couple riding in this car became the luckiest folks in New York on Monday when the red sedan plummeted 50 feet from the Cross Bronx Expressway — and they walked away.
The 2007 Toyota Matrix went flying when it hit a patch of ice at about 3:15 p.m.
The vehicle went over a concrete barrier and landed wheels down on the service road.
“It’s really just insane how lucky they both are,” Miguel Cruz, brother of passenger Luz Cruz, told The Post.
“Nobody should have survived that fall. Nobody!”
Cruz and her husband, Carlos Broadbelt, suffered minor injuries, but were kept overnight at Jacobi Hospital as a precaution.
