This is taking the phrase “fast food” a bit too far.

A woman was driving along Flatbush Avenue near Avenue S last week when her car suddenly had a hankering for Chinese food.

Witnesses said that the car skidded on the slick, rain-swept avenue at 6:30 p.m. December 13 and ran right through the Mandarin House’s front plate glass window, which was never meant to be a drive-thru window.

Police said that no serious injuries were reported although the woman behind the wheel was taken to a local trauma center for evaluation.

The only victim, it seemed, was one of our Kings Courier distribution boxes. Could the car have been gunning for it?
