A car smashed through the front window of an Aeropostale clothing store in Queens on Sunday afternoon, police and witnesses said.

“Right around 3 o’clock, I heard screeching tires and then what sounded like an explosion,” said an employee of a neighboring store at The Bay Terrace at Bayside shopping center near 26th Avenue and 212th Street. “I ran outside and saw smashed glass all over the ground outside.”

“A woman just lost control of her car and plowed into the building.”

No one was injured in the incident.
