This is the terrifying moment a suspect crashed his car into a Culver City McDonald’s drive-thru and tried to make a frantic escape after mowing down six victims.
Video shows a man speeding into another car waiting for food in the drive-thru before police vehicles try to box the man in.
He tries to get out of his vehicle and leave the scene as officers scrambled towards him. Several cops are seen running around before the suspect was eventually apprehended.
The suspect allegedly struck several pedestrians with his vehicle in Los Angeles’ Culver City on Tuesday — before the police pursuit’s dramatic end injured an officer.
Culver City PD later identified the man to The California Post as 45-year-old Juan Luis Estrada of Perris, California. He’s being held on $4.15 million bail, according to inmate records.
Officers say the suspect appeared to intentionally hit pedestrians while driving wildly, running red lights, and driving on the side of the road.
