This guy’s giving Ferrari a bad name.

A Long Island resident named James Ferrari has been cleared to sue Suffolk County for a $1.6 million after they seized his quarter-million-dollar Ferrari sports car after a DUI bust.

Ferrari, 48, lost the $250,000 Spider 360 on May 26, 2009, when cops in Bellport busted him for driving more than 100 mph while weaving erratically.

Ferrari, a repeat drunken driver, reeked of booze and owned up to a crack pipe in the car, according to court papers.

But yesterday a federal judge gave him the green light to sue the county for the rental cost of a Ferrari, which is $15,000 for every week his car has been impounded since his arrest.

Ferrari says cops deprived him of due process by forcing him to prove he deserved the car back.
