Two people in a BMW died when their car slammed into a garbage truck early Saturday on Long Island, said Nassau County police.

The car and the truck collided at the intersection of Bayview Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard in Inwood around 4:15 a.m., cops said.

Both vehicles quickly burst into flames.

The BMW’s two occupants could not escape the fire-engulfed wreckage, and died at the scene.

The driver of the truck suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
