An elderly woman crossing a Brooklyn street was fatally struck by a car swerving to avoid an accident early Sunday morning, cops said.

The black Nissan was driving south on 4th Avenue in Sunset Park at approximately 1:25 a.m. when another car cut him off near 25th Street, according to police.

When the 27-year-old driver changed lanes to avoid a collision, he hit the unidentified woman who was crossing 4th Avenue.

The victim was rushed to Lutheran Hospital where she was declared dead, cops said.

The driver immediately drove four blocks to the 72nd Precinct to report the accident. He has not been charged, according to cops, who are still investigating.
