The caretaker of a beloved tortoise named Millennium stolen from a Queens environmental center is pleading for the thief to return the reptile – “no questions asked.”
“If you have Millennium, please bring him back,” Alley Pond Environmental Center maintenance supervisor, Carlos Martinez, said in a video taken by The Post on Tuesday.
“He’s a big animal. He’s hard to take care of at home. No questions asked. Just bring him over, give me a call. In a box, drop him in the front. We just want him back,” Martinez said of the 100 pound tortoise.
Martinez made the desperate plea while holding a smaller tortoise named Mini Me, which shares an enclosure with Millennium.
“As you can see, Mini Me is sad for his friend,” Martinez said.
Millennium was discovered missing on Monday.
