Officials said that a 50-year-old man was parking the vehicle at 8:40 p.m. on November 7 when two unidentified males approached and pulled a gun on him.
The suspects ordered the victim out of the Ranger Rover. They then demanded that he fork over his cell phone before driving away.

Cabbie robbery solved
Investigators have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with a livery cab robbery that occurred last spring.
Officials said this week that Christopher Smith and an accomplice were in the cab as it neared the corner of Avenue J and Rockaway Parkway at 7:40 p.m. on March 18 when they allegedly pulled a gun on the driver.
The thieves forced the man to hand over his cell phone and car radio system before fleeing, police alleged.
Cops said they apprehended Smith this week, charging him with robbery in the first degree, criminal possession of a weapon, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
The man he was with was still at large as this paper went to press.
Cutting remarks
A 25-year-old man was arrested last week after he pulled a knife on a woman during a violent disagreement on Rockaway Parkway.
Officials said that the couple was arguing inside an apartment at the Bayview Houses near Seaview Avenue just before midnight on November 15 when the unnamed suspect pulled a curved knife and began waving it around.
When he began waving it in front of the young woman, his victim called police, who charged him with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
Kings ransom
An area resident was robbed of his cash during a shopping trip to Kings Plaza, officials said last week.
The teenage victim told police that he was inside the mall on Avenue U and Flatbush Avenue at 5:50 p.m. on November 12 when two other teens approached.
The duo allegedly demanded the victim’s bag before swiping an unknown amount of cash from the victim and running off. No injuries were reported.
Cops from the 63rd Precinct arrested one of the alleged thieves, identified as 16-year-old Steven Leger, the next day, charging him with robbery in the second degree, grand larceny, petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
His accomplice was still at large as this paper went to press.
Kings Highway hell ride
An unhinged 21-year-old straphanger nearly caused an accident when he mouthed off and then attacked a bus driver taking passengers down Kings Highway, police alleged.
Officials said that Richard Powell was ultimately charged with assault after his alleged actions caused the bus to swerve and hop the curb at Flatbush Avenue.
The B9 bus driver said that Powell began arguing with him as they approached the intersection at 11:20 p.m. on November 11.
As they drew closer, Powell allegedly punched the bus driver’s hand while it was on the steering wheel, causing him to lose control of the bus for a brief moment, officials said.
The bus driver hit the brakes and ordered Powell off his transport, but the young man wouldn’t do it, alleged police.
“I’m not getting off this bus. You’re going to take me where I tell you,” Powell allegedly said as he refused attempts to be taken off the bus.
When the bus driver decided to leave his seat and exit, Powell allegedly blocked his way and punched him in the shoulder.
The driver ultimately got out of the bus with injuries to his hand and shoulder, police said.
He called cops, who took Powell into custody a short time later, charging him with assault in the second degree, reckless endangerment, menacing and harassment.
Vacant vandalism
Two would-be taggers were arrested last week after they were allegedly caught vandalizing a vacant Mill Basin home.
Officials alleged that a crew of teens broke into a home on East 53rd Street near Avenue O on the afternoon of November 13 and “wrote and drew” on the walls on the first floor and basement.
The teens also reportedly punched holes in doors and walls and started small fires in the basement and the first floor that left scorch marks, officials said.
Their activity caught the attention of the property owner, who caught the suspects red-handed during a visit that Friday.
The woman immediately called police, who apprehended 17-year-old David Vincent and an unidentified 15-year-old.
Vincent was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, making graffiti and arson.
His accomplices were still at large as this paper went to press.
