Carpenters boss tossed
City carpenters-union boss Michael Bilello has been booted from his post by a federal monitor who found he had violated several rules — including letting a suspended union member work at the Javits Center.
Bilello was elected in 2011 to head District Council of Carpenters Local 157 after vowing reforms to the union, whose last four leaders had been indicted for various crimes.
