Investigators found a half-filled container of lighter fluid in the backpack of a teen who was charged with setting fire to a helpless cat named Tommy Two Times, a prosecutor told a Brooklyn jury yesterday.

Angelo Monderoy grabbed the cat in Crown Heights, where an accomplice “stepped on it, put lighter fluid on it and lit it,” said Brooklyn ADA Joshua Charlton.

Monderoy’s lawyer, Ricardo Rodriguez, told the jury, “There is no forensic evidence linking my client to this case.”
