This cat should have left the job for a grease monkey.

A driver rode almost two miles through The Bronx without realizing he had a kitty stuck in his engine.

It’s not clear how the cat got there.

But the unwitting under-the-hood ornament wound up touring the borough from Mount Eden to Tremont. A witness called police when he noticed the paw and tail hanging underneath the vehicle.

Emergency cops were able to free the fur ball unharmed. Animal Care and Control will put the fortunate feline up for adoption if an owner doesn’t come forward.
