Sabrina CammockThe initial autopsy on a Syracuse University student found dead in a Times Square hotel room was inconclusive, officials said Sunday.
“Cause and manner of death are pending further studies following examination this morning,” said a spokeswoman for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Sabrina Cammock, 21, a public-health major, was discovered unresponsive in her room at the Hotel Edison on West 47th Street Saturday morning, according to police.
There were no signs of trauma, and no drugs were found in the room, sources said.
The spokeswoman wouldn’t specify what further tests were needed to determine the cause of death.
