Community Board 13 isn’t feeling too gassy.

At its March 24 meeting, the group passed (pun inteneded) two resolutions concerning the production of natural gas in (or near) Brooklyn.

One opposed the creation of Liquefied Natural Gas facilities off Coney Island’s coast, while the other criticized a horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing proposal in upstate New York, which the board fears will taint Brooklyn’s drinking water supply.

“It was a coincidence,” said board Chair Marion Cleaver.

On a serious note, Cleaver said the resolutions “made sense.”

“Why should we be at risk?” she said.
