A graduate of the City College of New York has donated $10 million to the school’s Division of Science.

The college announced the gift yesterday from Martin Cohen, a science major in the Class of 1970, and his wife, Michele.

Among other things, the donation will fund the first endowed deanship in the college’s 165-year history.

Cohen is co-chairman and co-CEO of investment company Cohen & Steers.
