ALBANY — A former prison camp in the northeastern Adirondacks will be auctioned, and the state is asking a minimum of $140,000 for its 27 acres and 23 buildings.

Lyon Mountain Correctional Facility in Clinton County will be auctioned on July 10 following an open house this Tuesday.

The state received a winning bid last week of $241,000 for Camp Georgetown Correctional Facility in Madison County.
