A failed Brooklyn ice-cream-shop owner strangled his longtime girlfriend with an extension cord, then dumped her body in a Queens cemetery, authorities said yesterday.

Muhammad Iqbal, 45, a Moroccan immigrant, allegedly killed Khadija Mahel, 44, on April 13 in their Bay Ridge apartment, then hid her body under the bed for 29 hours before leaving it at Montefiore Cemetery in Queens.

Iqbal was charged with second-degree murder yesterday, said Queens DA Richard Brown.
