The Bloomberg administration will close the Central Park drives to vehicles north of 72nd Street from July 8 through Labor Day.

It’s the first long-term closure of the park’s streets, which are normally open to rush-hour traffic, officials said.

The change “follows numerous community requests” to give cyclists more access, officials said.
